About me
Hey, I’m Kiesha, a user experience designer, passionate about developing & delivering validated user experiences
I have always been passionate about digital products and design and I’m greatly motivated by humanity’s aim to constantly make life better through design and innovation.
My journey into user experience design as a career is driven by my desire to understand more about human behaviour, motivations and psychology. Validating this understanding through well-crafted digital experiences is where I get the most job satisfaction.
When I am not working, I love to travel and to connect with the wider UX community through international industry meet-ups and events, I enjoy engaging with my peers and I learn a lot about our discipline from the wider network we are lucky to be part of. I love music, from attending concerts, playing instruments (oboe, clarinet, and guitar in the future) and jamming out with my headphones!

User Experience Design Immersive Program
Dates attended: January 2020 – April 2020
A week looks like lectures in the morning (sometimes all day) and workshop time in the afternoon to work on assigned projects. Class time is 9-5 Monday through Friday. Projects are typically 1-3 weeks long and include the entire UX process, delivering research, sketches, wireframes, prototypes, and a presentation on the project. So it requires time outside of class as well, and therefore, great time management.
UX at General Assembly is an intensive immersive course that teaches the process of user-experience design. At the same time, getting hands-on experience by working on projects in sprints.
